Meet Our Team

Angela Dunn, Office Manager
Angela and her husband, Dr. Dunn, worked side-by-side to start Family Vision Care of Cool Springs in May of 2002. Prior to expecting their first child, you would see Angela doing anything from receptionist to verifying and filing insurance, glasses and contact lenses orders to dispensing and adjusting glasses, in addition to assisting patients with frame selection. Although these days her role is an administrative one, you may see her in the dispensary or reception area during your visit. She is enjoying her new job as Mommy to her and Dr. Dunn’s precious little one, Jacob.

Shenandoah Davis, Optometric Assistant
Shenandoah joined our team March of 2005. She is 1995 honors graduate of Forrest High School in Chapel Hill, Tennessee, and is currently working on her associate’s degree from Columbia State Community College. Shenan can help you in thoroughly understanding your insurance benefits and also file your claim for you. She is in charge of glasses and contact lens orders and can also assist you with frame styling, lens selection, and adjustments in our dispensary. She is the mother to two beautiful children, Brooke and Brett.

Amanda Houdek, Optometric Assistant
Amanda joined our team January of 2006. She was born and raised in Racine, Wisconson, where she graduated from Washington Park High School in 2002 and then went o to attend Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She’s the pleasant, friendly voice answering your call and is happy to assist you with any questions you may have. You may also see Amanda dispensing, adjusting, or repairing glasses in our dispensary. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, spending time with friends, and listening to 80’s music.

Jacob Dunn, Future Optometrist
Jacob joined our family July 15, 2005, four weeks early and a boy to our surprise! You may see him crawling around the office or “helping” our staff pull patient charts during your visit. He has already been accepted to NSUCO’s 2027 Freshman Optometry Class! In his spare time, he enjoys eating, babbling, crawling, playing with trucks and balls, and hanging out with Daddy and Mommy.
